Every feature stays: unified search, the calculator and converter, favourites, the clock, the widget panel and wallpaper theming. The refit changes how they look and where they sit, so the launcher feels current without relearning it.
Each row is a Kvaesitso feature kept as it is and given a new treatment. Nothing is cut.
| Feature | Refit treatment | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Unified search | Bar anchored at the bottom. Results grow upward in compact grouped rows, not one card per hit. | On a 6.7″ phone the top third is out of thumb reach. Rows fit about twice as many hits on screen. |
| Calculator & converter | A single answer card in the seed's accent, monospaced result, tap to copy. | An answer is the one result you came for. It should read before anything else. |
| Clock widget | Stacked numerals, minutes dimmed. Date, weather and next event merged into one sentence. | One large element per screen gives the home its character. Three small widgets compete with each other. |
| Favourites | Five-slot dock with tonal icons drawn from the seed. One slot can take the accent. | Themed icons stop the wallpaper fighting the app colours. |
| Widget panel | A sheet with a grab handle. Every widget shares one surface and radius, and the time peeks above it. | The panel reads as one place, not a scroll of third-party boxes. |
| Wallpaper theming | One seed hue drives a perceptual (OKLCH) tonal ramp for wallpaper tint, surfaces, icons and both light and dark. | Tones keep the same lightness across hues, so contrast holds whichever colour the wallpaper gives. |
Draft in HTML and CSS. The real fork is Jetpack Compose, so these tokens map to a Compose colour scheme and type scale rather than to this markup. Names, events and figures in the mockups are examples.
